Hi Anoop and Aparna,

You may not remember me, but I used to play cricket with Anoop in either of our back yards at Smithton. My mother worked as a nurse in Smithton and my aunty Joy was a nurse for your parents. My father who has been very ill recently, still travels from Ulverstone to see the Lads, when he is up to it. Your father was always very good to me, and I will always remember when he generously offered to pay for me to go to England and pursue my cricket career... I never went unfortunately, but will always remember his kind generosity.

It is a tragedy to see the allegations made against your father, and I sincerely believe a positive outcome will be achieved.

Please pass on my best wishes to your parents from my entire family.
